A New Semester

I’m officially on my own, again! A friend from Loyola and I took the 7am Megabus back this morning. The experience was 100 times better than my ride to MN. It was great to see all my friends and catch up. The phrase “I feel like I never left” came up  in our conversations every two minutes. I do not feel like I was away from Loyola for a month, celebrating the holidays and enjoying the company of family and friends. As of right now, I still do not have a roommate (so thankful for that!) and continue to enjoy my million dollar view. The most exciting news I have received since I have been back is that I have a new RA (Resident Assistant). I wasn’t very fond of my old RA… This semester I will also continue working as a desk receptionist at one of the resident halls.

It is crazy to think back a year ago. I was fighting off senioritis and frantically trying to decide on a school. Now, I have completed my first semester. It is exciting yet scary to think how much my life has changed. I was sad to see break come to an end, but now that I’m back, I’m ready to see what the coming semester has in store for me!

    Hi Danielle.

Great to hear that you are back and excited about what life now has in store for you. We will always miss not having you here, but we also happy to hear about all the new things that is store for you. Les Miserables really moved me. Great and meaningful story, great acting and it felt good to cry. Lots of love Mormor
