It is currently -22° with windchill here in Chicago… It is easy to become a little stir crazy when it’s this cold, so I put together a list of things I want to accomplish this winter. Hopefully, these things help me keep a little sanity during the frigid days ahead.
I have so many beautiful journals that I want to fill up! I absolutely love my One Line a Day journal (I am on the 3rd year!), but I want to start writing more substantial content.
2. Finish a REAL book
I read a TON during the semester, but it is never for fun. Time to start checking some novels off the list!
3. Start my new Danish language lessons
My parents gave me online Danish language lessons for my birthday that I am dying to dive into.
4. Explore one new neighborhood
It is so tempting to snuggle up at home during the winter months, but I want to make a point to explore one new neighborhood in Chicago. I can suck it up for a couple of hours…
5. Take a trip to the Art Institute of Chicago
Loyola students can visit the Art Institute for FREE. I need to do a better job at taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
6. Shoot in manual mode
I bought my DSLR camera a little over a year ago. It is time to venture into manual mode!
What is going to get you through this winter?
