Autumn in Chicago

Now that the Terrace is closed, I finally get to enjoy exploring Chicago again. Yippy! Emily, her mom, little sister, and I made our way to the Lincoln Park Zoo on Friday. There was a Fall Fest with activities for kids. I am so thankful for Scarlett for making outings like this so fun. Can we talk about her costume for a moment?! Molly went above and beyond creating that adorable super woman costume.

My mama and I love a pumpkin with some “warts”. The one above has the biggest cluster I’ve ever seen.

South Bend, IN

I met Molly after the Fall Fest to jump in a car and head to South Bend for the night. Colin and Kevin both moved into new places, so a visit to check out the new hangs was in order. We made our way to Colin’s apartment first, which he shares with his girlfriend and their new puppy! I was blown aware by how put together it looked for it being their first apartment. We’ve yet to hang much on the walls here in Chicago… Colin whipped us up a tasty dinner, and then we headed across town to check out Kevin’s place. Equally as cool. It was so fun to see their new places and the ways they each made them their own. Proud cousin right here!

Probably one of my favorite pictures #DCCNI. Our album will be out in February 😉
